Bloons+
PRIVACY POLICY

Your data. Your choice.

Scope & contact

Updated 3 October 2026. Covers the Bloons+ site and desktop companion, maintained by klaasa. Contact the project through GitHub. Do not publish private information in an issue.

Website requests

The site stores your theme preference in browser local storage. There are no project-added advertising or analytics trackers. GitHub Pages hosts the site and logs visitors’ IP addresses for security. See GitHub’s hosting documentation and privacy statement. Google Fonts supplies fonts; GitHub supplies the owner avatar and release data. These providers receive network request information.

Desktop data

Supported readers access saves and Steam progress locally. Settings, route checkpoints, logs and passive gameplay observations are stored on the device running the app. The bridge transfers commands and status between main PC and guest. Steam handles sign-in; Bloons+ does not request your Steam password.

Reports & sharing

Issue reporting prepares redacted log excerpts for your review. It does not attach saves, keys or screenshots automatically. Submitting a GitHub issue may make its contents public. Redaction cannot detect every personal detail; review before submission. GitHub and Discord have their own privacy policies.

Control & retention

Clear site preferences through your browser. App data remains locally until you reset or remove it; uninstalling may leave user data. Back up wanted records first. Edit or remove shared issues through GitHub and contact the project for help with copies it controls.

Live VM preview

The optional viewer transfers the game screen from your own VM to your local app through the existing connection. Temporary preview frames stay on your machine, are excluded from installers and issue attachments, and are overwritten. Opening the panel enables capture briefly; closing it stops polling.
